YTY is pleased to announce that it has been recognized once again at the prestigious Employee Experience Awards (EXA) 2026, this time for the Best In-House Candidate Experience. Our achievement this year builds on the award we received last year, during our inaugural year of participation, where YTY was recognized for a separate, but equally meaningful, award relating to Best Employee Feedback & Listening Strategy.
YTY was invited to speak at a recent symposium entitled “From Compliance to Competitiveness: Malaysia’s Path to a Future-Ready Workforce” held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and was hosted by the American Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM). The event brought together policymakers, industry leaders, business executives, and workforce experts to discuss the evolving labor landscape and the collective actions needed to strengthen Malaysia’s competitiveness in the global economy.
We are pleased to release our latest edition of YTY Cares, the annual newsletter that highlights YTY Group’s efforts to support our communities, our people, and the environment around us. Our efforts remain deeply connected to our original vision, which focuses on three “Pillars of Goodness:” Individual Wellbeing, Community Growth, and Environmental Sustainability. The initiatives we pursued throughout the year were conceptualized with these essential priorities in mind.
As a reflection of our continued commitment to community welfare and corporate responsibility, YTY recently funded the installation of ten solar-powered streetlights along an unlit and often accident-prone stretch of road near our YTY Lekir manufacturing site. This initiative, undertaken in close collaboration with the Manjung Road Works Department (JKR), significantly enhances nighttime visibility and safety for road users.
Recent weeks have brought torrential rainfall across large parts of Malaysia and Indonesia, triggering extensive flooding and landslides and resulting in the displacement of thousands of families in each country. YTY has responded quickly to the situation in each location with disaster relief efforts that have provided critical supplies to affected communities during this period.

YTY is delighted to announce it has been honored by the State of Perak with a Best Employer 2025 award. This accolade was provided by Kumpulan Wang Simpanan Pekerja (KWSP), which is the state Employee Provident Fund (EPF). The award is provided to companies that demonstrate exceptional discipline in statutory compliance, sound governance, and a deep commitment to responsible employment practices.
YTY is pleased to announce it has received multiple awards this year for continued workplace safety and occupational excellence by the Malaysian Society for Occupational Safety and Health (MSOSH), the leading professional safety watchdog in Malaysia. YTY was recognized on November 13 at the 43rd MSOSH Awards, held at the Putrajaya International Convention Center, where it earned a Gold Class 1 certification for both its Lekir and Acheh manufacturing facilities.
YTY is pleased to have collaborated with Kechara Soup Kitchen (KSK) to engage with, and provide assistance to, Kuala Lumpur’s most vulnerable communities in support of World Food Day 2025. Backed by a significant monetary donation from YTY, the initiative brought together scores of volunteers that included YTY staff, family members, and friends, who dedicated their weekend to serving those in need.
As part of its broader commitment to community development, YTY recently organized a Graphic Design Workshop that successfully upskilled 60 public school educators in the greater Manjung area. Recognizing the vital role that teachers play in shaping young leaders, YTY focused this initiative on providing educators with digital tools and creative techniques they could take back and apply in their classrooms to elevate learning outcomes.
