YTY has recently been made aware of allegations of certain instances of systemic forced labor at a supplier of ours, Mediceram Sdn. Bhd. (“Mediceram”), who is a manufacturer of ceramic formers, the type used in the production of single-use gloves.  YTY adopts a strict policy of ensuring that the suppliers we engage with are committed to sound employment practices.

PT Medisafe Technologies, a wholly-owned subsidiary of YTY, is proud to announce it was recently awarded a WRAP Platinum certification for a second consecutive audit cycle. Medisafe is the only company in the industry at this time to hold such a distinction.

Given our non-denominational stance, we are pleased to announce we have donated over RM 300,000 in the preceding period to rebuild multiple community places of worship.

YTY is pleased to participate in the International Rubber Glove Conference & Exhibition (IRGCE) 2024. The exhibition, which is staged once every two years, is perennially hosted by the Malaysian Rubber Glove Manufacturer’s Association (MARGMA).  IRGCE is the industry’s leading trade show that brings together customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders involved in the rubber glove manufacturing ecosystem.

In conjunction with Malaysia’s National Day, YTY organized a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) event at Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Batu 10 Lekir, focusing on an important topic, “Anti-Bullying and Crime Prevention for Children.”  The workshop was the main event during the school’s month-long National Day 2024 campaign which ends on Malaysia Day on September 16, 2024.

YTY Industry is pleased to announce it has been awarded a second consecutive Gold certification with no findings by Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) for our Malaysian manufacturing operations. WRAP is an independent not-for-profit audit agency with a globally recognized accreditation standard that utilizes a rigorous and well-defined certification framework for social compliance monitoring and evaluation.
