Medisafe Technologies Awarded Second Consecutive WRAP Platinum Certification

PT Medisafe Technologies (“Medisafe”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of YTY, is pleased to announce it was recently awarded a WRAP Platinum certification for a second consecutive audit cycle. Medisafe is the only company in the industry at this time to hold such a distinction. This achievement underscores Medisafe’s continued commitment to maintain high standards of social compliance, pursue ethical labor practices, focus on advanced environmental stewardship, and deliver outcomes that align with the elevated governance standards set forth by its corporate parent, YTY.
WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) is a globally recognized certification program that ensures manufacturers who are part of complex, global, and extended supply chains adhere to rigorous standards as it relates to worker rights, health and safety, working hours, compensation, and environmental practices. Earning Platinum status reflects performance to the highest level achievable under this framework, and is only awarded to companies who demonstrate an exceptional commitment to WRAP’s twelve embodying principles by maintaining a Gold rating for a minimum of three consecutive years. It is understood that only some 10% of the 3,500 WRAP-certified facilities around the world are awarded Platinum status.

After all, Medisafe was the first in the industry to achieve a WRAP Gold certification; the first in the industry to obtain a WRAP Platinum certification; and now, is the first in the industry to earn a Platinum certification for a second consecutive audit cycle.
