YTY Honored with Best Employer Award by Malaysian State Government

YTY is delighted to announce it has been honored by the State of Perak with a Best Employer 2025 award.  This accolade was provided by

Kumpulan Wang Simpanan Pekerja

(KWSP), which is the state

Employee Provident Fund

(EPF).
The award is provided to companies that demonstrate exceptional discipline in statutory compliance, sound governance, and a deep commitment to responsible employment practices.  Out of nearly 43,000 companies registered in the State of Perak, YTY was selected as one of only 22 companies this year to receive the award.
Members of YTY’s Human Resources team recently attended the official ceremony in Ipoh, where they were formally presented the award in the presence of senior KWSP officials, industry leaders, and distinguished government officials.  The ceremony was officiated by Mr. Jeffary bin Mohamed Isa, KWSP’s Northern Region Director, and Mr. Mohammad Khairri bin Ibrahim, Head of the Ipoh KWSP Branch.
Vikram Hora, CEO of YTY Group, notes “We are truly honored to receive a Best Employer award from the state authority.  As one of the largest employers in Perak, this recognition affirms the employee-first standards of excellence we seek to uphold across our organization.  It also validates the robust processes and systems we have instituted to ensure timely, error-free, and regulatorily compliant contributions to provident fund schemes, which provide an important financial safety net for employees as they plan for their eventual retirement.”
KWSP assessed a number of factors in order to identify employers eligible for recognition.  These included, but were not limited to, maintaining a perfect score in respect of on time and accurate EPF contributions, a clean legal and regulatory track record, zero employee complaints on EPF-related matters, full compliance with Malaysian labor and employment laws, and improvements in voluntary contributions by employees.
Ravi Ragunathan, Vice President of Human Resources at YTY, notes “This has been a strong year of achievement for YTY in respect of delivering on our commitment to ensure sound employment practices.  In 2025, YTY has been recognized by Human Resources Online, where it won an Employee Experience Award in the category of Employee Feedback & Listening Strategy; from Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP), where we were reaccredited with a Gold rating for socially responsible and ethically compliant manufacturing; and from the Malaysian Society for Occupational Safety and Health (MSOSH), where YTY was recognized for its exemplary workplace health and safety track record with Gold Class 1 honors.”
Ravi goes on to note, “This latest employee-centric award from KWSP allows us to end the year on a high note, and provides us with renewed motivation to build a people-first organization.  We remain firmly committed to strengthening the social compact with our employees, investing in their long-term well-being, and partnering constructively with federal and state regulators to ensure YTY remains at the forefront of employer excellence in Malaysia.”
