YTY is delighted to announce it has been honored by the State of Perak with a Best Employer 2025 award. This accolade was provided by Kumpulan Wang Simpanan Pekerja (KWSP), which is the state Employee Provident Fund (EPF). The award is provided to companies that demonstrate exceptional discipline in statutory compliance, sound governance, and a deep commitment to responsible employment practices.

YTY is pleased to announce it has received multiple awards this year for continued workplace safety and occupational excellence by the Malaysian Society for Occupational Safety and Health (MSOSH), the leading professional safety watchdog in Malaysia. YTY was recognized on November 13 at the 43rd MSOSH Awards, held at the Putrajaya International Convention Center, where it earned a Gold Class 1 certification for both its Lekir and Acheh manufacturing facilities.

YTY is pleased to have collaborated with Kechara Soup Kitchen (KSK) to engage with, and provide assistance to, Kuala Lumpur’s most vulnerable communities in support of World Food Day 2025. Backed by a significant monetary donation from YTY, the initiative brought together scores of volunteers that included YTY staff, family members, and friends, who dedicated their weekend to serving those in need.

As part of its broader commitment to community development, YTY recently organized a Graphic Design Workshop that successfully upskilled 60 public school educators in the greater Manjung area. Recognizing the vital role that teachers play in shaping young leaders, YTY focused this initiative on providing educators with digital tools and creative techniques they could take back and apply in their classrooms to elevate learning outcomes.

YTY Industry is pleased to announce it has once again been awarded a Gold accreditation by WRAP for our Malaysian manufacturing operations, which reaffirms our steadfast commitment to socially responsible and ethically compliant manufacturing. WRAP is an independent, globally recognized governance body that holds manufacturers to high standards of excellence, particularly in respect of forced labor prevention, worker protection, and ethical manufacturing.

YTY is providing this update to highlight recent developments relating to earlier allegations of certain systemic forced labor conditions (the “Allegations”) in the manufacturing operations of MediCeram Sdn. Bhd. (“MediCeram,” or the “Company”), a Malaysian supplier of ceramic formers. This update builds on our prior statement on this matter dated March 28, 2025, which is around the time we were first alerted to the Allegations.

YTY is pleased to announce it has completed Phase 1 of its solar energy transition strategy with the installation and commissioning of 5.8 MWp (megawatt-peak) of solar panels across its manufacturing facilities in North Malaysia. Phase 2 of this initiative, which will be completed in December, will add an additional 1 MWp, providing a sum total of nearly 7 MWp of solar energy.
