YTY is proud to announce that it has been named Company of the Year (Manufacturing) in the ESG Leadership category at the 10th edition of the Sustainability and CSR Malaysia Awards 2025 , a prestigious platform that celebrates corporate excellence in sustainability and social responsibility.

On July 10, 2025, Indorama, the parent company of YTY, held a high-level engagement with the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim, at the Prime Minister’s Office in Putrajaya, to explore the potential for further strategic investments in Malaysia.

YTY is pleased to announce a Bronze win at the prestigious Employee Experience Awards (EXA) 2025 recently held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The company was recognized in the category of Best Employee Feedback & Listening Strategy, marking a significant milestone in our ongoing journey to elevate the employee experience and enhance our workplace culture.

YTY was visited by a senior-level delegation from the Bangladesh High Commission on April 19 and 20. The delegation sought to visit various YTY manufacturing facilities and hostels in Sitiawan, Perak, and notice of their visit was provided a day prior to their arrival.

YTY has recently been made aware of allegations of certain instances of systemic forced labor at a supplier of ours, Mediceram, a manufacturer of ceramic formers, the type used in the production of single-use gloves. YTY adopts a strict policy of ensuring that the suppliers we engage with are committed to sound employment practices.
